When one achieves perfection, it is not always done with purposeful mind. What is reflected becomes the example all can look to emulate. Ishiyama Shonagon Gen'tarou Yori'ie makes his countenance appear effortless, and this does not go unnoticed by Us. The early morning sun shines its warm rays over field and forest. There among the verdant wood glows the bright gold of a comet for our worthy Ishiyama-Shonagon Gen'tarou Yori'ie. The delicate strands of webs also gleam in the light, bedecked with morning dew. So, too, do his efforst to grow the woodworking guild please us well. For this and his numerous past services to the Barony marche of the Debatable Lands, we brandubh et Hildarun, Baron and Baroness, bestow upon him the Comet D'Or, at Agincourt on the 19th day of October, A.S. LIV.

I entered my green silk kariginu and orange silk sashinuki into the pentathalon as a kariginu kamishimo, and so impressed Magnus and Muriel, Baron and Baroness of the Rhydderich Hael, with my skill and craft that I was granted the right to claim to be their choise of the finest work of the arts and sciences.

The Baron and Baroness of the Debatable Lands may make an individual whose service continues and is ever growing a Companion of the Order of Copernicus. I was completely blindsided by this induction at the Baronial court at Pennsic 44, on August 2, A.S. 50.

Ice Dragon A&S Pentathlon, A.S. 49 - Pentathlon Runner Up

A full entry in the Ice Dragon Pent comprises entries in five different categories. Anonymous individual entries are judged and given numeic scroes based on their workmanship, complexity, aesthetics, documentation, authenticity, and creativity. The combined scores of all five entries yield a person's pentathlon score, and the highest scores for individuals, novice individuals, and groups each win a special overall prize. This was my first year with a full Pent slate, and I came in second!
