Coaches and catenary wires in the Sunnyside railyard, Long Island City, NY
Amtrak locomotive 557 in the Sunnyside railyard.
Between the rails in the high speed facility.
There are pigeons inside the facility.
The high speed trainset they had there this day was only mostly assembled, and it was still wrapped for delivery.
Technicians are often very candid in the notes they leave each other.

NEC-MSC High Speed maintenance facility
High Speed Facility again. Both of these two pictures suffer from a lack of depth. The facility is actually long enough to house an entire trainset, I believe. Each of those sets of yellow stansions are about 50 feet apart. They guard the stairways down into the service trench betweent he rails.

Look out! (The more observant among you will have noticed the "STOP" flag on the tracks. Also, the "oncoming" locomotive isn't actually moving.)
